We welcome the views of our patients and enjoy working with patients to improve services and to promote health and improved quality of care
We have Patient Forum groups at all of our surgeries. These have an important role to play in helping to give patients a say in the way services are delivered to best meet their needs and the needs of the local community. We feel these groups help to build a mutually supportive relationship between patients and surgery staff.
The Patient Forum is open to all patients who have an interest in the services provided. Meetings are held every 12 weeks and future meeting dates are set 3 months in advance.
We are always looking for patients to become part of our Patient Forum and we would really welcome your involvement. If you are interested please mention this to our reception staff and let them have your contact details - we will then make sure you receive a copy of the agenda for the next meeting. We look forward to seeing you at the next meeting.
At our New Cross surgery we also have a Patients' Representative Group (PRG). This group has been running for approximately 7 years and is independent from the Patient Forum. It is a patient run group which is heavily focused on making improvements to services from the patients’ perspective. We are very grateful to this group for their constructive challenge and continued support to help us make a difference to the services we deliver.
If you would like to know more about this group or keep up to speed with what's going on with the group, follow this link to access the group's Facebook page. If you can't manage to attend the meetings but want to share your thoughts and comments you could email on firstname.lastname@example.org
